Graphic designers need not only be creative and knowledgeable in design basics but also in the evolving media technologies. They can go into different industries such as print media designing, gaming and animation, and web designing. To become a graphic designer, you must have the following education requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree in fine arts or graphic design is required for some positions but entry level technical positions need only an associate degree from a prospect employee.
• Some of the topics or courses the employee must be versed with are drawing fundamentals, graphic design basics, digital photography, basics of color, mass media communication, 3D design and animation, digital video production, and multimedia production.
• Additional courses and training on marketing, advertising and salesmanship may also be required by some companies.
